The Infiltrators Database is a searchable database of cases of long-term infiltrators who have targeted groups engaged in subversive activities in the 21st century. Its goal is to help anarchists and other rebels understand how infiltrators operate.
Inclusion criteria
To be included in the database, a case must be:
- About an infiltrator, not an informant. The infiltrator joined groups that they were not part of before the infiltration.
- Long-term. The infiltration lasted at least three months, throughout which the infiltrator maintained a consistent cover identity.
- Targeting groups engaged in subversive activities. This excludes infiltration targeting right-wing organizations, most political parties, and commercial companies.
- In the 21st century. All or part of the infiltration occurred after or during the year 2000.
- Well documented. There is a minimum amount of information available about where, when, and how the infiltration took place. Mere mention of an infiltration case in a news article or court document is not enough.
